Spend time exploring the wonder of pollination-the creatures who are designed to do this important job and features of plants that work with them to make blossoms, fruits and seeds!

THEME: Water

Cool off and have a blast in this playful session! There will be water games and activities including taking a closer look at the riparian ecosystem, teeming with life. Prepare to get wet each day! Wear or bring water shoes, a change of clothes or quick-dry/swimwear each day.

THEME: Farm-n-Garden

Build a deeper relationship with where food comes from by learning about community and backyard gardens, helping to start a raised bed at the village, and visiting a historic farm. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes; plan to get dirty!

THEME: Mindfulness

Cultivate a playful presence through breath as a tool for working with feelings, guided visualization, yoga asana practices and learning to tune in to your body’s wisdom. We will spend each moment learning to be in the moment, engaged in playful practices to enhance daily life for anyone at any age or stage of life. Wear comfortable clothing for movement!

THEME: Nature

Take a closer look at the world around you! Use tools like magnifying glasses and binoculars, and learn to think like a naturalist. We will take a step into life cycles, food webs and ecosystems while connecting with nature all around. Comfortable shoes, sun protection, and a spirit of adventure are all you need!

DATES: July 29-Aug 1

THEME: Art

Get creative with a wide range of arts experiences and mediums. We will create our own unique pieces of art, and we will find inspiration at the Denver Art Museum. Play with primary, secondary and tertiary color. Plan to get messy. Make sure to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting painted!
