CHILDCARE DIRECTOR
AMY MCKINNELL
Miss Amy, as she's known around Little Village brings a joyful presence to Villagers young and old. She has a background in midwifery and early childhood education, not to mention being mother to 6 kids of her own (ranging from 6-21 years old!) all of which enables her to manage our mixed-age space with grace and humor. Amy is passionate about the outdoors, growing good food, essential oils and generally living and loving well.

CHILDCARE ASSISTANT
KIMBERLY BURNESS
Beth is a Public Health RN and Parent Coach with many years of experience caring for young kids and postpartum mothers across a wide variety of settings –including as a single mom of 4! Beth brings a strong knowledge of early childhood development, parent coaching (using the PureJoy method), Shamanism and postpartum Ayurvedic care and and is passionate about the need to prioritize and protect women and young families during their most vulnerable years.

MANAGER
NANNA THOMPSON
Nanna brings a wealth of experience as an educator, corporate trainer, improv actor and teacher to our East Boulder location. Not only is this mother of two gifted with kiddos (most recently, she was a public elementary school and Montessori teacher) but she also excels at keeping our ship afloat. Nanna blends creativity, humor and warmth with efficiency and flexibility. She truly makes our Village feel like an extension of home.

ASSISTANT MANAGER
KENDLE BUTTERWORTH
In a fun parallel to Nanna, Kendle comes to our team with a background in improv theater and education. When not at Family Village, she can be found raising her two kids and teaching at BackStory Theatre in Broomfield. Kendle is passionate about community building (and the use of theater as a tool for building connection). She is keenly attuned to the collaborative spirit of our Village and helps to make each of us feel welcome here.
